Downloading and Installing the Applications

Status (October 2026): Release candidate 3.0.0-rc1 of NeuroScope, Klusters, NDManager and the NDManager plugins is available: the first releases built on Qt 6. Please try it and report problems in the issues of each repository. 3.0.0 follows once the feedback is in. Progress is tracked in the revival roadmap.

With Homebrew, the applications build from source on any Mac:

Each release page also has a .dmg for Macs with Apple silicon. The disk images are not notarised yet: if macOS refuses to open the application the first time, allow it under System Settings → Privacy & Security.

The Neurosuite formulae in the old tap FlorianFranzen/spikesorting have moved to neurosuite/neurosuite, and brew update migrates existing installations. The 2.0.0 disk images on SourceForge (Qt 4) no longer work on current macOS versions.
